How to Install Peel and Stick Wallpaper

Installing peel and stick wallpaper is a straightforward process. Follow these simplified steps to achieve a professional-looking result:

Step 1: Prepare the Wall

Clean the Surface: Wash the wall thoroughly from top to bottom using clean water. Do not use cleaners. Allow the wall to dry overnight. We do not recommend or warranty installation on textured walls.

Step 2: Plan and Position

Layout Sheets: Lay the sheets out or hang them with tape or tacks to ensure you have the correct number of sheets to complete the wall. Position Sheet #1 at the left-most side of your wall.

Peel and Stick: Place the wallpaper face down and peel back about 6 inches of the backing paper. Stick the exposed wallpaper to the wall, ensuring it is positioned 1/2 inch higher than the wall to allow for trimming.

Step 3: Apply and Smooth

Smooth and Align: Slowly pull the backing paper down while using the supplied squeegee to press the wallpaper against the wall. Move the squeegee in a figure 8 pattern to avoid trapping air bubbles. Overlap edges slightly to ensure the pattern aligns seamlessly.

Step 4: Trim and Finish

Trim Excess: Once all the sheets are installed, use a straight edge and a sharp knife to trim away any excess wallpaper at the ceiling and baseboards. Enjoy your new wall!
